Privacy policy

This policy explains how PPM Electrical Ltd collects and uses personal information when you use our website, contact us, or use our solar and air-conditioning estimators.

Who we are

What we collect

When you send the contact form, solar roof estimator or air-conditioning calculator we collect your name, email, phone number (if given), property details, room or roof measurements, and the message or estimate you submitted. Server logs may include your IP address and browser type. We also use Vercel Analytics for anonymous visit statistics.

Why we use it

We use this information to reply to your enquiry, provide an estimate or quote, and follow up about work you asked about. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to enquiries.

Who we share it with

Emails are sent using Resend so that messages reach info@ppmelectricalspalding.co.uk. The website is hosted by Vercel. We do not sell your details. We may share information if the law requires it, or with a professional adviser if needed to complete your job.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and related notes are kept for as long as needed to deal with the job and our usual business records (typically up to 6 years for invoices and installation paperwork). You can ask us to delete an unused enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold, ask us to correct it, or (in some cases) delete it or restrict how we use it. Email info@ppmelectricalspalding.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies needed for the site to work. Vercel Analytics measures page views without advertising cookies. The solar map uses OpenStreetMap/Nominatim search and map tiles; that is a third-party service if you use the estimator.
